Eel River Valley Part 2

Some more ominous Redwoods looming over you.
Walked up the mountain for a birthday party with our Chilean bros/dogs.
This is Bone an 8 year old Airedale Terrier mix with the an attitude that deserves a sweater vest and monocle to go along with it.
Things slowly got out of hand, balls started flying at people's heads.
Then Jordon and I got into an argument about if smoking made you look cool or not.
Here he argues his case.
The next morning we went down to Dinsmore to pick up some supplies.
Finally some socks without all the BS.
Looks like mom sent in Jr. for a liquor run.
"Mommy likes whatever fits in your jacket pocket hun."
We ran into some locals on the way back, they seemed sketchy.
Ever notice that the Brawny man lost his mustache?
Buttery.
 California Sister (Adelpha bredowii)
Nailed it.
I got trigger happy and started shooting every animal in sight, for scientific reasons of course.
This is a Pacific Tree frog.
Then I got in touch with my childhood roots and instinctively nabbed this Skink.
A Western Skink to be exact, with a surprisingly strong tail.
 "Mmm yes!, now more surreal!"

Art existing in the depths of the Redwoods.
The sun showed itself quite frequently up here, I was prepared for rain and cold.
After shooting this photo I made a personal challenge of trying to Javelin throw a tree branch through the rock arch.
Some more nature porn for you...
Blockin' out the scenery, breakin' my mind!
And then there was... the 12 hour drive home. First try, no warm up.

  1. I don't really remember last Sunday. I was in my home, on the internet. Probably reading for College too.
    "Everyday really was like Sunday"
    Morrissey reference?
I haven't been to any park in over 2 weeks. I'm blowing it.

Brawny Man always has a cool flannel on.
