101 Things Part 1

On road with Travesura in Oregon back in January
Leo instinctively heads for the water fully clothed
Meanwhile a Hager quarrel is settled in their traditional manner...
... in sudden death
 Leo soul searching
looking for soul food on yelp
Leo goes Americas Funniest Home Videos while I try and go Cartier-Bresson
Neither we're close
Mark and mic gather some sonic texture
Travesura giving of some serious CSNY vibes
Quick! punch that hippie disk
We stopped at the drive thru tree with a bonus hair pin hill bomb
Cody bursts through the invisible ribbon
Jared spins his lid for maximum velocity
 Leo goes double falconer stance

I'm here to see and be seen...

Some rad bands I saw last month.

FUZZ played Alex's Bar in Long Beach which made for an awesome bike ride to and from the show.

Charlie Moothart waits for Ty's cue.
 "Activate the fuzz"
Roland Cosio rumbles the bass.
I love Alex's Bar, but I hate the way their stage looks in photos
"Are they playing inside a Mexican restaurant? A Catholic Church?"
"This time I got a reason..."
BL!SSS magazine threw a rad part at the Observatory O.C. and they conviniently invited 3 bands that I've been wanting to see live.
Gap Dream
Bummer rock bad boy Al Knost and Tomorrow's Tulips.
Check out their new album Experimental Jelly out on Burger Records.
The Cosmonauts shut the party down.
New Album "Persona Non Grata" out soon via Burger Records

A demontration of Bro Style

Fanatic frank fellatio.
 Texting casualty.
"I brought my dog as an offering for the demo gods"
Who are these "haters" and why does everyone love them?
Hager on the high dive at Collin's pad.
Stationary wave in front of the garage.
 "S P L A S H!"

Brought to you by the letter "P"

Jackie gets down on her knees and serenades the Samsung.
Ashley has been busting out her all in one karaoke microphone (Filipino Style) that pugs into the TV, its been all the rage lately.
A little reverb on the mic and some alcohol and you'll be letting the dogs out our getting the Led out.
Rob warms the crowd up with some Beach Boys...
He then sheds the Sherpa coat and goes for a nasally Mr. Tambourine Man.
Carl challenges Rob to a sword fight but Rob seeks shelter for his shillelagh instead.
Griffin has always been a multitasker.
A Hager on Hager induced black eye.
Only a diamond can cut a diamond right?
 Paint brush chop stick improv.
I learn something new every time I am around these guys.
 Here's another.
Hands are too busy jamming on guitar for some rhythm? No excuse bro! Stuff a maraca in your flip flop for instant one man band percussion.
Ashley takes a break from cleaning up our new condo in Long Beach.
I always pictured the Trojan Man to look a bit differently.
Shit happens, a lot.

Wipe the crust from your eyes

A belated post from Ed Templeton's "Memory Foam" opening last month.
An attendee absorbs the Memory Foam photos with his comically small Zoolander camera.
Got to meet up with my NY photo bros Josh Elan and Andreas Laszlo Konrath who by chance got to see Ed's show. They were in town to shoot the cast of Silver Lining Playbook but Jenifer Lawrence canceled, word on the street is that she's a bitch.
The famous Nolan Hall in action.
Like moths flock to light, crust punks flock to freebees.
Only assholes and blind people wear sunglasses at night.
Let the portable Portlandia commence.
"Are those fair trade certified organic arabica beans bro?"
You're in my shot Cro-mag!
Crust chariots.
Back inside a dude flies the Toy flag over their nappy roots.
Somewhere out of frame Templeton sighs...
Someone unfurled one of their crust dreads for a some 'performance art' jump rope.
Me: Is this what you guys do on Saturdays?
Crust: We don't like to discriminate between days.
Me:...
Here we go...
Looks like Cheshire brought he game face...
 ...and her birthday suit.
Post rope butt adjustment.

This is all Rob's posse had to say about the night.

P.S. Not psyched on my camera.
